The Laboratory in Paray Mission Hospital is one of the best performing laboratories in Lesotho. It got 3 Stars in National Audit (2015 & 2016) and it ranked best in Lesotho Information System (2015 & 2016) and Decentralized External Quality Assurance (2015 & 2016). The staff is trained internally and externally on a regularly basis to maintain this high standard. The laboratory provides services for in- patients and out-patients in haematology, microbiology, chemistry and blood transfusion. Currently there are five lab technicians, two microbiologist and one receptionist working in the laboratory of Paray Hospital.
